A more user-friendly website experience. A logo that is legible, scalable and recognizable. An increase in newsletter open and click rates, social media platform engagement and event signups.
I was contracted by the Greater Annapolis Design District to redesign their logo, branding and website. As an Art Director for this project, I provided direction for the onsite administrator and production artist, Denise Sjolie, and contracted website developer, Tony Pipta of Merisign, responsible for executing my designs.
For the logo redesign, I made adjustments to the intensity of the colors, the thickness of the typography and the scalability of the logo variations.
I documented the organization’s mission, vision, personality and tone in the brand style guidelines book, established through research and interviews with GADD members, Lisa Tullei of Annapolis Interiors, Beth Kuhl of What’s Up Annapolis Magazine, and Robert McKellar of ADU.
In the brand guidelines book, I wrote out specific instructions for the execution and production of the brand assets. Visual examples show the typographic style sheets for web and print, color palettes, patterns, icons and photography styles for future photo shoots.
I created Adobe Express templates for GADD’s brand assets, updated by the administrator, Denise, for the creation of materials for GADD events, social media content, marketing and communications.
I offer branding audits, full logo and website redesigns and marketing assistance.
